We took the night off from watching Illinois state troopers beat people up after several weeks of watching Illinois state troopers beat people up. Predictably, they are again orchestrating an enormous response to a small protest and dance party in an area that's already barricaded for protesting in.

Several people in Chicago were kidnapped by ICE and CBP while there were thousands of so called allies downtown for the No Kings parade. I might sound bitter but that's because people have been begging for material support for over a month now and frankly photo ops and parades do nothing to help.

He's former GOP self proclaimed ex-Tea Partier. He probably agrees with a lot of nasty conservative policies but doesn't like how Trump is going about it, so this kind of statement reveals his true colors.

If anyone's wondering how this is possible, the answer is these strike teams are moving terrifyingly fast. Grab first, ask questions later. We were about 8-15 minutes behind them today for several hours. They're jumping out of vans, chasing people across lawns, taking them from bus stops, etc

During today's adventure my cheap plastic whistle broke, I guess from blowing it too hard. But thankfully I was able to acquire a metal whistle from a kind volunteer and it comes labeled with ICIRR's hotline for legal assistance with ICE abductions.

Rogers Park and surrounding neighborhoods were hit hard by immigration enforcement activity over the weekend.

There's no competition here, but I want to name that the same heavy, violent, fast-moving abduction pattern has invaded the southwest side about three times a week for over a month now.

Thank you for mentioning the SW side, due to site demographics the SW side doesn't have much representation on Bsky. Been thinking about when they targeted Rogers Park last week and how we have been dealing with the same thing for weeks now but didn't have the right words to express it.

These guys are absolutely going to shoot more people.

They’ve already killed one man, shot a woman, and we’ve seen a pattern of pulling firearms on unarmed people doing nothing violent or illegal over the past few weeks.

Clearly they do not care at all about the temporary restraining orders.

Can't never get used to state sponsored fascists roaming around your neighborhood looking for people to kidnap. Nor do I ever want to get used to it, this isn't normal, this is terrorizing my neighbors and community members. ICE and CBP need to GET THE FUCK OUT OF CHICAGO!!!
