Yay for profit!
I'm at my best early, I've always fancied having a morning room, as in elegant mansions, but never had the space or elegance.
I'm multitasking singing as I work, I'm going to a vocal workshop with friends tomorrow. No idea what it will be like but I need a change after last week.

Morning! I hope it's good busy, or at least profitable.
A day of last-minute frantic clearing. Compressing things into smaller bags to make room for ex loft stuff. David comes back this afternoon. Roofer starts tomorrow. I am also baking, cleaning, dog walking, breathing when I find a spare moment.
😂 the very beginning of the intro had me wondering if the bass had been given to the drummer to have a go on!
It was a recording issue I think, the strings were quite dead and the percussion overly bright.
No rest for this one either, still clearing the loft. Found a couple more sizeable ceps on the dog walk yesterday, I'm thinking of making a duxelles. Saw Sweeney Todd last night, it was brilliant, the guy who took over the head with two weeks to go deserved his standing ovation.
Happy Saturday all!
Almost gave up on the intro but it became a pleasing if rather imbalanced recording.
The roofer said it would be a couple of weeks and I'm expecting a bit longer tbh.
I spoke to our County Council who say permits are given to the skip company on a case by case basis. Two skip companies say they've always had such requests turned down.
Roofer says he'll stack and remove by truck.
I expect there will be some additional costs but his quote was lower than I expected so if some extras go on I don't mind.
Everything is falling apart a bit, but the roofer has a plan b.
Unfortunately we aren't going to be able to get a permit, according to the company I spoke to. There are single yellows down our street (pointlessly, a historical thing I think) and I was told they don't give permits for those. I'll ring the council to check.
What has Norfolk done to deserve this?
You've got through it, well done. And congratulations on the work, that's been going well lately.
The roofer messaged me to ask if I could sort out a skip as his supplier doesn't cover my area. I'm worried about this.
I didn't get to the theatre last night, too tired. Maybe tonight.
Happy Friday!
Excellent. Does that mean you will now be independently mobile, with practice of course.
Hurrah for the boiler. Mine seems to have recovered from its sticky switch and I have hot water again, luckily the shower is electric so that works separately.
I'm looking forward to the show, they have a good cast and the lead will be spectacular.
Fingers crossed they have made a good job of it and it is comfortable.
Do you mean on it or as a base? I am not so easily deceived!
That sounds either ominous or exciting, hope it is the latter.
Busy day here so far, after realising the kitchen bins hadn't been cleaned in forever I started on some heavy duty housework. Then the gym.
May go to see Sweeney Todd tonight, just need to check tickets.
Happy Thursday everyone!
Why does Starmer show such reluctance? Don't I recall there being a Russia Report, perhaps the unredacted version could be released.
She's making sure their party will disappear without trace.
Irritability and agitation sounds most unpleasant. Both for you and anyone in the vicinity.
I'm looking forward to doing the number, haven't seen the choreo yet but it should be fun.
Right, I'm off to get some things in town.
Have you started the new meds yet or is that a fresh hell still to come?
Lots of admin stuff to do today. Scaffolding went up yesterday, roofer starts next week. Lots more clearing to do, got rid of a boot load yesterday.
Burlesque tonight, dancing to I Put a Spell on You, love it!
Happy hump day!
