Multiple sources have confirmed that ICE/Border Patrol is headed back to the Raleigh and Durham areas for undefined deportation actions. We've heard 50 ICE agents, charter flights and hotels booked for all of them in the Raleigh area.

it was THIS WEEK when I realized that the people who complained about Dylan "going electric" were complaining about his performances with The Band. I was imagining some kind of heavy metal moment but it was just The Band. I was so immersed in the music growing up I was incapable of seeing the break.

Three evenings ago I read an article about using ice packs on the forehead to help beat insomnia. The original study was from 2011 IIRC. Apparently if you drop the temperature of your frontal lobe by a degree or so you trigger a cascade of sleepy time metabolic events.

Everyone on my skyline is older than ICE. We lived a life without them and nothing has improved with their existence: housing is not cheaper, healthcare is not more accessible, and we are not more secure. Abolish ICE and it is your moral duty to oppose them kidnapping and trafficking people.

I’ll look at it in more depth later but Northwestern’s agreement seems more campus-specific than previous deals and imposes restrictions on campus conduct beyond what others ave agreed to. Northwestern seems to have surrendered autonomy to a shocking extent. www.northwestern.edu/president/do...
