Some Stormy under the tree cheer for you
our big grey tabby Stormy has a fuzzy white belly and sweet green eyes. He is snuggled on the red tree skirt under our Xmas tree, and is illuminated with red and green lights. There are bookshelves behind him.

Self soothing by sitting in my kitchen

Stormy is a grey tabby with a fuzzy white belly. He has sweet green eyes and a little smile. He is smug and snuggled on the red tree skirt, under the boughs of our newly trimmed and lit Xmas tree. There are books on the shelf behind him.

one of the things I did this weekend
fresh greyscale tattoo of orchids on my inner bicep, 3 blooms curved around stems that follow the line of my arm. You can also see the leaves of my other tattoos, this is part of a botanical sleeve (with lots of space between the blooms)

I lined the shelves and drawers with old calendar art because I didn't like any of the shelf paper in stores.

My project this week was retrieving a secretary cabinet from Indy's family farmhouse and putting it in the dining room. Thank you to friends for labor and the lending of a truck.
Oak cabinet with hand carved decorative panels on the front, and carved details around the curving pieces on top. It is in the corner of my dining room.

New to me black "combat" boots with wingtip style cap toes. They come up to mid-calf, and have side zips. I'm wearing them with bare legs and you can see my poppy tattoo.
