Things I have learned this week. Carhart has a refurbish program for their outerwear. Their sizing chart is... well I bought the XL short based on it and I had to add a safety pined dart and roll the legs up, so next time smaller. But man the overalls kept me warm. Still no snow here.

Right now I'm in the throw spaghetti at the wall stage to see what the subplots will be, because sadly novels need more then vibes... or mine do because I'm not talented enough to manage on just vibes. Kudos if you are able to pull it off! #WeeknightWriters

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

I have another one... this is the tale of how my mother lost the right to cook holiday dinners. A few years back my Mom decided to cook a Christmas dinner for our side of the family, Prime rib. She's an iffy cook, so I offered to do the sides and dessert, so all she had to focus on was the rib.
