Welp shoot. We are almost at full water at the barn, waiting on one final test that could come in any day now (hopefully negative for lead and heavy metals). But today I overreached somehow and pulled one of the tendons I messed up last summer. Fun days.

Some couples are so in tune they rock charades. My poor husband and I are figuring out that is NOT one of our skills while we navigate his mouth being full of gauze post wisdom tooth extraction.

Our school district switched to a new program to manage all the student data this year and demanded a slew of personal information to essentially reregister all the kids. They've had two big data breaches in 6 months.

We came we dug out (with a lot of help from my neighbor who hired a service to help since we have a shared double driveway and another neighbor who can't shovel any more and 3 houses worth of sidewalk to cover). This year has been playing havoc with my routines though.

The snow has started here. We are expected to get 2-4 inches tonight... ending around 5-6am so I expect a snow day for the kids. We'll see what they do for husband's work.

I have one wish this season... that the heavy metal test on the barn well comes back clear because we are officially in cold season and hauling buckets of water up and down the aisles without spilling and creating ice spots is getting to be a problem. Fingers crossed... we should know soon.

It's cats on the heat registers season. Shyla likes the ones in the main room, but Olive has decided the one behind our bedroom door is the best, much to the dismay of my husband since she keeps knocking everything off his bedside table and turning his alarm clock on at random times.

Things I have learned this week. Carhart has a refurbish program for their outerwear. Their sizing chart is... well I bought the XL short based on it and I had to add a safety pined dart and roll the legs up, so next time smaller. But man the overalls kept me warm. Still no snow here.
