Skandalakis has a good reputation here in Georgia, but I don’t think we’ll see him move forward and deliver justice. And to top it off, the legislature has passed a law that will end up costing my county millions in paying the legal fees racked up by these traitors. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

Imagine if Dems in the Senate hadn't caved. The House wouldn't be in session rn, the discharge petition wouldn't be signed, people wouldn't have SNAP, govt workers would be RIF'd & the GOP would have some decent talking points. But also online rage addicts would be happier! YMMV!

There's this weird conception that people have where the inflation/employment data is just released after the BLS does a vlookup command.
The CPS is based on interviews with 60,000 people every month! It's a ton of work to collect the data - if people are not working, there's nothing to release!

3-4 months ago, people were getting high and mighty about how employment data wouldn't be doctored and withheld and we are now at the point where the latter issue is now occurring. I don't think government shutdown is a good excuse, either lol.
