Justice Sotomayor with a graphic dissent as the Supreme Court allows Alabama to move forward with the execution of Anthony Boyd by lethal gas:
Eleventy Quadrillion!
Trump now says he's secured "more than $20 trillion of investment." This fake number goes up every single day! (The entire US GDP is $30 trillion)

New satellite images show the scale of demolition that has occurred on the East Wing of the White House in less than a month.
Unless I'm missing some huge ballroom culture (very possible, I am a pleeb) I'm putting my money on that being a throne room. No way it doesn't have a dais and gaudy chair at one end.

Children.😭😡

The 6-year-old said he saw “snipers on the roof ready to shoot our cars.”

The 8-year-old said, “I saw soldiers and was so scared I started shaking.”

The 14-year-old said, “They put a gun to my face. Then they pointed it at my mom’s head and said they’d blow her head off.”

If given the chance, I'd lose my legs all over again to serve in our great military.

The leader of your party is a five-time draft dodger who has fired more Veterans than any other president in our history.

Square that circle then tell me who really hates our military.
He's gonna put a dais and a fancy chair at one end.
One end of this "ballroom" will have a dais and a fancy chair.
Demolition crews have begun tearing down part of the White House to build President Trump’s long-desired ballroom — despite his pledge that construction of the $250 million addition wouldn’t “interfere” with the existing building. https://wapo.st/4hl7jyF

EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.

His brain is rancid marshmallow foam, and he views lives like items stocked on shelves.
Trump: "Israel can say that 'we killed 50,000' and so you'd say it's a whole net set of people. And it is. They get replaced by other people. Young people."

This is the best political news I’ve seen in a very long time — so please pass it on👇

Each state can limit Citizens United in their own state & they don’t have to wait for other states to do it.

Our new @rollingstone.com piece based on our new book MASTER PLAN. Get the book at LeverNews.com/book
Every state is purple.
Take note of all these people turning out for protests in small towns in red states.

Remember them the next time you’re inclined to write an area off because “they voted for this.”

The only explanation for this is that these people would disprove the administration’s narrative about the identity of the people we are murdering. I’m a little surprised they didn’t just straight-up murder these two in custody. That’s who the government is now.
Breaking News: The Trump administration has decided to repatriate two survivors of a deadly U.S. strike this week on suspected drug runners in the Caribbean Sea rather than prosecute them or hold them in military detention, people with knowledge of the matter said on Saturday.
U.S. to Repatriate Survivors of Its Strike on Suspected Drug Vessel
The U.S. military rescued the two men in the Caribbean Sea after Special Operations forces fired on a semi-submersible that was assessed to be smuggling drugs.

people who earnestly try to argue that blocking certain accounts deprives u of important opposing viewpoints are assuming these certain accounts are posting in good faith
which is a dangerous assumption tbh

This is probably wrong of me but I genuinely don’t think I’d know when those No Kings protests are if not for Republican Senators getting on tv and being like “Skeletor will be there, everyone who is there will get an abortion, the ceremony will raise the dread visions of Nyarlathotep”

Time is up. I gave Speaker Mike Johnson two days to swear in Adelita Grijalva. Arizona's 7th congressional district 813,000 Arizonans are now being taxed without representation. I have lawyers downstairs right now drafting litigation.

Wow. Sidney Reid, the DC woman just found not guilty of assaulting an FBI agent, issues a withering and gutsy statement on Trump through her attorneys.

"I feel sorry for the prosecutors really, who must be burdened by Trump's irrational and unfounded hatred for his fellow man."

It's a must-read:

The Supreme Court’s majority right wing indicated in oral arguments that they think racism is over on the same day that the vice president defended the “I love Hitler” guy, and that the NYT reported that the current administration plans to accept only white, English-speaking refugees.
