Over the weekend, the #LACoFD lifeguards celebrated 49 newly graduated Ocean Lifeguard Cadets.

This group worked hard by completing scheduled tower days w/ocean lifeguards, shadowing them during ocean rescues, first aid care, etc.

Congrats & we wish you continued success!

Honestly, it may seem like a fashion faux pas, but I also started wearing fishing vests more. It really helped to have all of those pockets up front and center for things I needed to keep handy.

Way to go!

Learning to use a wheel chair was the hardest thing I had to do ... but a good pair of gloves and a heated back thing was the most essential thing I found!

Also a good backpack to keep water, snacks and books lol
