Over the weekend, the #LACoFD lifeguards celebrated 49 newly graduated Ocean Lifeguard Cadets.

This group worked hard by completing scheduled tower days w/ocean lifeguards, shadowing them during ocean rescues, first aid care, etc.

Yesterday, we were above Topanga Canyon with Secretary Wade Crowfoot and Supervisor Lindsey Horvath to see State and County partnership in action: clearing brush, cutting red tape, and preparing our communities for fire season.

This week, we welcomed Quebec pilots to the LACoFD Lifeguard Division, strengthening the bond between two teams dedicated to public safety, one in the air, the other in water.
