I definitely agree. I am seeing more and more people park their shopping carts in the middle of aisles and wandering off to grab individual items from around the store. We are not summiting Mount Everest. You do not need to set up base camp.
Can't remember if it was this bad before COVID but I'm seeing an alarming spreading of what I'll call Airport Behavior to other public places. Obliviousness to other people's existence, ineptitude at navigating the environment. "Is this your first time at the grocery store" type stuff

People going with big name stars are doing it backwards. You need to go with someone who's had a bit role in everything. I'm choosing Eric Roberts. Among his 893 acting credits are roles in The Dark Night, The Expendables, Babylon, The Righteous Gemstones, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Seriously, the money the American Economy has lost just from me since the 2024 election is in the thousands. From not getting American products... even super cool shit like the print above... to cancelling a couple of trips already, and not even bothering to plan new ones.. it's just silly.

This is SO TEMPTING but my backlog is already four hundred games between Steam and unclaimed bundle keys. I'm not buying new games for myself any more.

As a corollary to this: there are a lot of artists who will black-list you from BUYING art if you have AI slop in your profile. Seeing AI is an instant, immediate red flag for most artists because it's a signal that you do not respect artists (yes, that includes using it "until I can get real art").
Just so you know...
Art directors, Art enjoyers, Art buyers and Artists talk with each other. Nobody wants AI slop, specially when there is real art out there as an alternative. You can totally get blacklisted, not only on the industry, but inside fandoms for defending AI precarization and theft.
