the constitution doesn't define a lot of crimes but the one that it does define is treason, which defines as waging war against the country. hard to see how a military invasion on a city within our country fails to meet that definition. oh well too bad there will never be consequences

the recipe i found was good. it involved simmering in water first to plump them up, then adding garlic and oil, shallots, herbs, and frying for about ten minutes. i chose to deglaze with a splash of soy sauce and finish with butter, both of which i'd strongly suggest as they don't have much flavor
