So happy that @bradlander.bsky.social is running for Congress. From everything I’ve seen, he really walks the talk and seems to love the people he serves. Go Brad!
I’m running for Congress because we need leaders who will fight, not fold. I recognize this moment, and I’m ready to meet it. #FightDontFold #LanderForNYC #LanderForCongress

Yet another fight is brewing over Missouri's new gerrymander. Republican Secretary of State Denny Hoskins says the law will go into effect tomorrow, even though opponents submitted 300K sigs this week for a veto referendum.

Organizers say the law was suspended as soon as they turned those sigs in.
Missouri set to enact gerrymandered map despite 300K signatures for repeal referendum • Missouri Independent
Roughly 300,000 signatures demanding Missouri’s gerrymandered congressional map be placed on the 2026 ballot were submitted.

I've probably photographed Brad Lander more than any other elected in NYC because the dude shows up. He's everywhere, he's incredibly accessible, and he genuinely loves New Yorkers. You can literally go up and talk to him whenever he shows up. Go ahead, try it!

ICE are thug scum.
ICE detain U.S. citizen for looking Somali—use illegal chokehold to tackle him to ground.

Man repeatedly begs agents to look at his digital passport ID—they refuse.

Drove him 7 miles away before releasing him alone into Minnesota snow storm—told him to "walk home" in freezing weather advisory.

Thinking of that time when my dad, himself a doctor, was thrown by a horse on a trail ride. Punctured his spleen, internal bleeding, got him to an ER just in time. He lived another 20 years. With two hours delay, probably wouldn't have.

We rushed to *nearest* ER. Not comparison-shop for ER prices.
Roger Marshall: "We want patients to become consumers again. We want patients to see what the actual prices are. We believe that if we would add the price tags to this bill, that it would save the country a trillion dollars a year."

Stephen Miller’s hateful rant, blaming all of America’s woes on immigration, was repulsive.

It reminded me of another time when the blame for all of a country’s problems was falsely placed on one group. See if you can spot it...

Our utility bill is ridiculously huge now. Saving $1.00 a month on gas for the car doesn't even come close to making up for it.

Phillip: What did he do?

Borelli: Energy prices low

Phillip: You mean gas prices that are six cents lower? Oh, are you talking about electricity prices that are going up?
