The fact that tarrifs are on the top of front pages consistently while people getting abducted off the streets for their free speech without due process is relegated far lower should tell us everything about where much of the media establishment sees our priorities as a society.

There are plenty of immigration actions happening in red states, but local law enforcement and the civilian population are cooperating, so it doesn't make good television.

Eventually the cost of internal security will get too high and they'll definitely default to killing, but America has a lot of land and resources, we can slide quite a way still.

We don't have working trains, so transport will be tricky.

So far, every time I've "overreacted" has been vindicated.
