The future must be cosmopolitan.
Trump has shown us repeatedly that what he really loves is a powerful man. Mamdani is a winner because he manages it without being a complete psychopath.

This is one of the weirdest things about mainstream media in America. Mass murder is less controversial then sex.

No, but, I think the problem is MTG trying to represent her constituents...and her constituents, love Trump, but hate immigrants and gays. They also don't want their health insurance premiums to go up and they don't like pedophiles.

The right demands purity, she's going to take the money and run.

Yeah, I don't think enough people have thought about how what comes next might be objectively worse.

Vance is on the record comparing Trump to Hitler and now is Trump's biggest fanboy. He stands for nothing; he is a hollow shell of a man.

RFK Jr has a profession?

Or that she doesn't.

This is why they re-released part one right before this. They're hoping people will want a refresher and also to reach audiences they missed the first time around.

Lina Khan is a remarkable public servant and I'm excited to see her on board.

I don't even know what this is about, but I am confident that if Stephen Miller is mad, I'm for it.

Oh, we're mostly on the same side here. Exploiting the economic desperation of poor people to get them to "invest" in something that is definitely not in their best interest is morally wrong, it's just not "taxation without representation".

Forbes is running ads for Powerball disguised as journalism.

A lottery ticket, is not a tax. You don't have to buy it, and it's not mandated by any sort of authority. It's an entertainment expense.

If you buy a movie ticket and throw it away, the movie gets shown without you and you're generally not entitled to compensation.

But, it's a novel theory.
November 21, 2025 at 2:39 PM
This. The net rate of return on the lottery is deeply negative, and the median rate of return is -100%.

There are real questions about the utility of $2, if you get $2 worth of entertainment out of being included, but it's an entertainment expense, not an investment.

This is not an accident. They're trying to paint this as an unavoidable macroeconomic event and not a massive strategic fuckup by Target.
November 20, 2025 at 6:45 PM
Yeah. 🙍‍♂️
November 20, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Wait, does this work?
November 20, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Honestly, "normal" is a poor standard, but it seems to be the language we've settled on.
November 20, 2025 at 5:34 PM
History has many precedents for this flavor of stupid.
November 20, 2025 at 5:26 PM
Because of the way the "conservative" mindset works, they will continue to support him until they are personally affected. The problem is that this is a uniquely ineffective way to fight fascism. Once the fascists get to you personally, you've already lost many of the tools of resistance.
