1/2 From the I'm a dumbass file - I got a notification earlier that a package had been delivered and didn't see it anywhere. I was already planning my trip to the post office Monday when I noticed the notification had been sent yesterday and I didn't get it until today.

So my father in law was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. My mother-in-law is in full denial and was making him drink coffee to pep him up, as if he was tired from lack of sleep instead of fighting cancer. I hope she doesn't insist on a big Christmas but I'm almost sure she will.

Less than five minutes in, my son started asking the women if they'd had babies. It was glorious.
My son, who is now 6, found a pregnancy app on my wife's ancient phone. I'm looking forward to him asking questions about pregnancy when we go to my in-laws for Thanksgiving.
