Early-retirement couch potato in his mid-50s.

I've seen the future. I can't afford it.

Coca-Cola, jazz and Christmas: 60 years of Charlie Brown Christmas
The cartoon debuted on Dec. 9, 1965, and was anything but a sure thing. Coca-Cola, a jazz artist, and bunch of kids helped pave the way for a 60 year legacy for a little boy and his dog.

A Charlie Brown Christmas debuted on CBS this evening in 1965. Director Bill Melendez provides new depth to the characters of Peanuts. The show’s hint of melancholy is true to the tone cartoonist Charles Schultz long gave to his comic strip. Vince Guaraldi’s jazz score is one of the ages.

I have opted to make it "Whiskers on kittens and brown-paper packages tied up with string, and wishes for a happy holiday season."
In recent years, my brain has started misfiring so that when writing by hand, I put letters out of order. Writing a holiday card just now, I wanted to write "wishes", but started it with "whis", & now I need to figure out if I'm going to turn that into "whisper", "whiskey", "whistle", or "whisker".
