Seriously, what wormhole did Amy fall into?
Minnesota has always been a state that welcomes people from around the world. One example: Team Canada leading a huge crowd in singing “O Canada” after winning gold at the World Snow Sculpting Championship in Stillwater.

Friday afternoon, ABC News ran an interview with one of Mischief Toy Store's owners about the store's practice of giving away free whistles. Hours later, ICE agents showed up at their door.

Here's my story (gift link):

“In 27 years of being retailers in St. Paul, we’ve never been audited for this,” one owner said.

This is what happened in our neighborhood yesterday. ICE snatched a human being off of our streets, roughed them up badly, and then pepper sprayed legal observers as they documented it all. This is a daily occurrence happening all throughout Minnesota right now.

"I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate...The Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to 'order' than to justice"
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we reflect on Dr. King’s enduring call for justice, equality, and action. Even in these challenging times, Dr. King’s courage and faith remind us to stand together with resolve and compassion.

Rest in peace Victor Manuel Diaz. He was a Latino immigrant kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis. He died in ICE custody at Camp East Montana, Texas while facing deportation.

We have unjust immigration system that continues to take the lives of our neighbors while tearing families apart. 1/

Klobuchar's in STILLWATER admiring the snow. 🙄
In Minnesota, we won't stop welcoming people from around the world. Undeterred by the ice or ICE, Stillwater, MN hosted its annual world snow competition, bringing 16 international teams that turn blocks of snow into art. Congrats to first-place Canada 🇨🇦, Mongolia and Thailand for second and third!

Imagine if the SENATE did the same. Democrats have the power to stop this madness but leaders like Amy prefer to collaborate with Trump & his Gestapo.
The courts are upholding the law and the rights of Minnesotans to peacefully protest ICE. An important ruling for the Constitution and our state.

National media: Please stop describing what’s happening in Minneapolis as “protests.” There has been a modest, sustained protest outside the Whipple federal building, about 10 miles from downtown, but... 1/3

Was in Rosemount with Rep. McCollum and many local leaders for the launch of the Minnesota Aerospace Complex. This will create jobs in Minnesota and help keep our state competitive in the 21st century economy.

Standing shoulder and shoulder with some dope businesses to tell you all: it pays to be upfront and vocal about caring for your community.
I talked to four east metro small businesses about how they're fighting back against ICE. Here's my column (gift link). Please share!

It comes with risk, but some businesses feel they need to speak out.

NEW — ICE violence has spread well beyond Minneapolis, with agents landing in small cities like St. Cloud. I spoke with Alice Valentine, a local queer trans woman, who protested ICE on Monday and was pepper sprayed, beaten and jailed as a result, along with her girlfriend.

She’s our senior senator. She has the power to shut down the government and end the occupation of Minnesota.

She will not.
There are now more ICE agents in MN than there are police in the 10 largest metro police departments combined.

Our Police Chief asked them not to come onto our streets, but the administration continues to escalate the situation.

This is making Minnesota less safe.
