Australia recorded ZERO cases of cervical cancer in women under 25 for the first time since they started tracking the cancer in the 80s.

This is the power of vaccines.

The HPV vaccine is extremely effective at preventing cancer.

Viruses can be oncogenic. Get your vaccines and protect yourself!
newsGP - Australia set for world-first cervical cancer elimination
Vaccination programs have played a key role, and GPs remain ‘instrumental’ in boosting screening rates to reach the 2035 target.

They prefer to set big, revolutionary, utopian goals instead of small, achievable goals.

It's easier to make bullshit excuses when you fail at a larger goal.

With the American military adopting such pointlessly cruel and antagonistic anti-LGBTQ+ policies it’s good to see some other countries are taking the opposite approach.

Howie Noel was always a hidden gem of an artist with his hallmark retro/caricature style and vintage, film noir aesthetic until he effectively went viral, thanks to Superman director James Gunn who discovered his work.

I’ve known the real reason for those raised costs for a while (companies), and more people need to Know it.
Every time we complain about how much games cost to make, I think about Kevin Levine talking about how he had 2K throw out "seven games' worth" of material before wrapping on BioShock Infinite.

I don't think it's the coders and the texture artists wanting salary and benefits, you guys.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

A lot of it is people claiming to want change but not wanting to do any work or give up their comforts, so they make excuses.
That’s as old as politics, itself.
Social media leftists quite simply do not want politicians to be politicians. They want them to be YouTube/TikTok influencers who say all the right things first and get anything done roughly ninth.

"I know - I'll just TAKE OFF the ankle monitor! Why has no one else thought of this before? I'M SO SMART."
Former president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, has been under house arrest for plotting a coup and assassinations of the president, vice president and chief justice.

He used a soldering iron on his ankle monitor and lied about that. Burn marks on its circumference betrayed him.

Now, he's in custody.
HE TRIED TO GET IT OFF USING A WELDER

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

HE’S SO DUMB, HOW WAS HE ONCE PRESIDENT OMG

Happens so often that even if it's said from a genuine place, I can't help but doubt it.
"Old good new bad" is the prevailing mindset for far too many people, and it colors everything theys see.

It’s threads like this that make me better understand why “doesn’t look like a movie” does’t make sense to me.
It’s a matter of perspective.
I think there's a special dislike I have for people who keep saying things like "why do movies not look like movies", or "it looks like it was shot on a phone!", which a) is not true, b) demeaning and ignorant to people who work on films, and c) an excuse for only liking movies when you were 10.

I hate this sort of meme.

“The only difference between the parties is whether the power to destroy human civilization rests in the hands of leaders who think gays, women, and black people should have their rights acknowledged.”

Even if true, how is Rainbow B-52 not infinitely preferable?

Please continue making calls to Visa and Mastercard, because they are working alongside conservative legislators to crack down on free speech and expression!

A dual pronged offense requires a dual pronged defense!
#SaveSpeech

starting Nov 1st we're entering the holiday season, which is a big stress point for big businesses like Mastercard and Visa. These Paypros havent stopped cracking down on Adult Content, so we need to jump back into calling them in full force again!
