Since Polygon is leaving it out of the headline: Epic Games partnered with The Game Awards to put money into the pocket of a bigot who uses her wealth to further the genocide of trans people through lawsuits and legislation. Every 'free' game gives money directly to JKR, and they are complicit.

alt: an IDEA for an essay is not a PITCH
Been reading submissions on and off all day which has left me thinking a lot about how an IDEA for a story isn't a STORY.

once again this is my highest recommendation for living a good life. ganache is 1 chocolate bar: 1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped cream is 1 cup cream + 2tbsp powdered sugar + 1tsp vanilla. treat yourself well
if i can make one recommendation for you this winter season, it's to make yourself a batch of chocolate ganache, a batch of homemade whipped cream (neither of which are expensive or take more than 5 minutes) and make hot cocoa with them.

just saying
