yes. Similarly, our local Indivisible group is run by retired women.
As a former county chair (although lacking the blue hair), I can vouch for this.

This is also why we ask for wool socks! And it's not just about frost bite, don't Google trench foot if you have a sensitive stomach, but trust that wool is a great way to address at least some of that.
Do this locally in your area, too! Waterproof in mittens and boots is key: if fingers and toes get wet, they might not get dry again
We are now also low on snow boots, I think probably 40 pairs went out today!

The hard truth is that right now, our Secretary of Health is one of our nation’s biggest health threats and largest sources of health disinformation.

Realistically, we need RFK Jr. to be FIRED. At a minimum, he needs to answer to Congress for his attacks on public health.
Under RFK Jr., the CDC provides a megaphone to the anti-vaccine movement
Common anti-vaccine talking points were on display as the CDC’s immunization advisers repealed a hepatitis B birth vaccine recommendation and scrutinized the childhood schedule.

And yes, we will do it in public to deter others.

Fixed the headline.

“Healthcare Companies Are About to Raise Rstes and Co-pays in a Way Americans Can’t Afford.”
For one-tenth of what Trump just spent on tax cuts to the rich, we can have 10 years of guaranteeing people affordable health insurance in America. Why shouldn’t we do that?
