A official Border patrol Instagram reel uses the controversial Michael Jackson song "They Don't Care About Us" with the lyrics:

Jew me, sue me...
Kick me, k*ke me

We have a nazi government.

The so-called Fourth Estate is a fucking joke and anyone who believes Big Media was coming to save them by reporting responsibly on Trump's fascism, is as fucking dumb as the MAGA idiots who believe that the media is liberal. What does it say about them that they think conservative media is Left?

Thinking of all the people who insisted that this admin was serious about "ending antisemitism on college campuses."

I just checked and this is real. It's on Border Patrol's official Instagram (I don't see it on Facebook) and is being celebrated by Nazis on Twitter, as you can see in the screenshot.

The clip is just 13 seconds long too, so it's a very intentional thing. We've got a Nazi government.

China has positioned itself to be the world’s premier manufacturer & supplier of cheap weaponry components - not too mention, stolen/reverse IP.

A report by The Washington Post found that roughly $22.8 billion of taxpayer money was allocated to Musk's companies within the last five years

He's using your money to "purchase" a vehicle his company produced and can't sell

This is textbook racketeering
SpaceX has already taken delivery of hundreds of unsold Tesla Cybertrucks and is expected to receive thousands more

The average new vehicle in US as of this month is $50k (with no indication of prices dropping).

China is producing ~$15k EVs (with better quality than Tesla - not a high bar).

I’m not advocating that we import unfettered Chinese made vehicles into the US. Just stating that something is very wrong.

America cannot compete with itself due to all of the above. It would benefit from allowing regulated imports of Chinese vehicles & market pressured innovation, though it won’t. American auto & the lobbying arm of it is greedy, stubborn & ignorant to long-term strategy.

🧵

C) Many US auto businesses are going to fail during this upcoming recession due to rising consumer debt, stagnant/idle inventories, materials costs (tariffs), lack of innovation, lack of inexpensive offerings, insurance increases to offset insurance stock prices during this meltdown

🧵
curiouscitizen.bsky.social
After discussing the pros & cons, we determined that…

A) mass transit in US will never happen due to how deeply entrenched the US labor force is with the auto industry

B) mass produced, high quality, simple vehicles via global competition would break US auto industry

🧵
curiouscitizen.bsky.social
Legacy auto could/would be devastated by cheap Chinese EVs & back to basics mass produced vehicles (simplified & smaller & efficient gasoline cars). Tesla would be eliminated by Chinese auto.

🧵
curiouscitizen.bsky.social
Legacy US auto decided 6 years ago to shift towards catering to higher priced offerings, thus out-pricing most Americans.

Japanese/Korea auto such as Honda/Toyota still holds to making higher quality vehicles - thus widening gaps between Stellantis/Ford/GM.

Initial topic condensed: “Tesla vs. Chinese EVs vs. Back to basic cheap vehicles”

The thought was, what would happen if US opened imports to Chinese made EVs? Recent @pivotpod.bsky.social stated that Chinese EVs are able to be produced in mass & extremely inexpensive. Tesla is a meme stock.

My partner & I had a “thought experiment” during a recent roadtrip - specifically regarding the US auto industry…

I made a claim that roughly 5-10% of the entire US economy is directly tied to and/or primarily serves automobiles in America.

Here’s the gist of our thought experiment…

My local Indivisible group is calling for flags for #NoKings it's probably a good move, but MAGA spent so many years defecating on it that it feels tainted.

We need to reclaim our colors.

Q: Politico reported on a group chat of young Republicans. Does this just reflect some bad apples?

HOCHUL: Some bad apples? These are the future of the GOP. This is so vile it's hard to find the words to put into context ... there's gotta be consequences ... this bullshit has to stop.
