We absolutely did have control over our affairs in the EU, more than most others, and exercised a lot of power over them. Scotland, on the other hand, is by design limited in its powers. It's a parallel that just does not hold up under anything but cursory scrutiny.

A couple of years later both 30 Rock and Sunset Strip began, so maybe they knew those were in development and a third would be overkill? Yeah, though, how hard would it have been to call it "How you doin'?" about his time on a medical show reprising Doctor Drake Remoray or something.

43 years ago today, readers the world over opened their newspapers and gazed upon cow tools for the first time. happy birthday cow tools. you look great.
