A bunch of us got a phishing scam email today and legit had a couple people wonder how in the world our work emails were the ones people got. Like guys. It’s not like our emails are highly classified 😂 we probably emailed someone who did click on the link🙄

Every Democrat in Congress should put out a video saying troops have an obligation to refuse unlawful orders. Make them prosecute all of you. This isn't a close call.

Have to do some performance reviews for a department that’s quickly falling apart. Mainly because we have a couple people with major poopy pants attitude. Not looking forward to it. They think they’re the bees knees but they’re literally the slowest messiest employees in the dept.

Holy cow. A week or so ago I saw a post on LinkedIn about chicken vs fish employee (one is loud one isn’t) and now everyone has decided it’s the best new thought and it’s like every other post. Like we get it. They’re not even reposting the OG. Just the same pic with their “own thoughts”🙄

Customer claims a ln employee told them something wrong. Entirely possible. Then the customer says “are you going to fire them?”. I told them no. Like, what?!? If we fired everyone for a customer claiming the person told them something wrong I’d have no staff. Not to mention at least half the time

One manager who worked at another company (w waaay smaller stores) keeps complaining that our processes are actually processes. Wants us to just do everything like other company they worked it. That company has 1.5-3 mil stores maybe 15k sq ft we’re a 90k sq ft at 26/27 mil… apples and oranges.

I’ve been able to put out three a year over the last few years, but it’s a revolving process I created for myself with my engineer brain. From start to publishing, it takes around 3 years per book with the writing and the drafting and the editing and the formatting and the unknown variables, etc…
Authors, in the interest of helping readers spot gen ai 'authored' books, how many novels do you publish a year?
I publish one 80-100k+ word (epic fantasy) novel, and I can only do that because I drafted 8 novels before I started publishing any. 📚💙

We do a type of department evaluation every week. Last week a manager threw a fit because theirs is nearly always in the afternoon (because they’re a small dept) even tho they nearly always do well. So this week I had them done first and this is their worst week in ages.😂🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

I’ve begun the countdown in my head until there’s new management and these giant whiney-pants babies of managers I have have to deal with someone else. Hoping these incoming people will put these jerks in their place.

We have a manager who has 2 bacholers in management *plus* 20+ yrs of management experience and other managers think this person is bad at managing bc they’re the only one that actually tries to hit the standards and follows up w the team. Pretty sure they’re just mad this person makes them look bad

The Long Walk was freakin’ great. Great chemistry with all the cast. My only complaint is that Mark Hamill’s voice choice was a little too cartoon villain for me but a) that could just be me equating him with voice acting and b) at least he’s not in it a ton.

I find it deeply disconcerting the way they keep “teasing” the big info they have on autism.
If there was a real scientific breakthrough, they wouldn’t wait.
This isn’t about science, it’s about discriminating against neurodivergent people.
