I still cant believe people forgot about this. Dude fucking was wearing this dumb green hat from toy Story of the aliens and recorded this guy who was deceased from suicide in the forest in Japan and was laughing about it with his friends, like it was just a joke to them.
If you want a specific reason a lot of people fucking HATE both Jake and Paul Logan, they decided to descrate corpses in the Japan Suicide Forest on YouTube which caused a controversy. Which YouTube responded by stripping all small accounts of monetization and did not punish the Logans in any way.

Larian’s usage of genAI is by no means close to the worst I’ve heard of (not a defense-just saying) but if companies can learn one thing from this backlash, I hope it’s that nobody wants this and you will actually EARN goodwill (with gamers AND creatives) by outright banning genAI usage.
