This is an underappreciated point in progressive circles. When I was in grad school, there was a cottage industry for conservative PhD candidates in political theory to write dissertations on “When America Lost its Way.” Was it FDR? Wilson? Lincoln?(!?) Gettysburg? The Federalist Papers? Et al

While Vought traces the “leftwing revolution” back a hundred years, to the progressive era, there is no question that the election of Barack Obama was a radicalizing moment for him and many key thinkers on the radical Right - as were the multiracial protests in the summer of 2020.

Parents who voted for Trump have children who need Special Education services.
Lots and lots of parents who voted for Trump have children in Special Ed- literally millions of them.

I wonder how those parents feel about these cuts…

There are reports that the *entire* office of special education at the US Dept of Education has been cut. These hardworking folks ensure kids with disabilities get equal access to a quality education.

America’s children deserve better than this.

I block very rarely, much less than most of you. But I just instituted a policy of blocking any account that posts AI video as real, and doesn’t take out down several hours after being informed.
