I don't know how to think about it! So much of my parenting has been focused on encouraging them to build what feel like transferable human skills—reading, critical thinking, analytical discipline, etc. But it feels like we're living a mass retreat from valuing *humans* using/needing those?

I have no idea! The only other data I have from mine is that *allegedly* huge %s of their written communications from teachers are AI-generated. Like—according to them and the AI-detector website they showed me—most emails from their teachers are 100% AI now.
