Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

"we had 2 bags of crucifixes, 75 Bibles, 5 sheets of high-powered indulgences, a saltshaker half-full of palm ash, and a whole multicolored collection of prayers, psalms, decrees, condemnations. also, a quart of trappist beer, a quart of buckfast, a case of communion wine, a pint of holy water, and two dozen rosaries. not that we needed all that for the pilgrimage, but once you get into a serious artefact collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can..."

I know I shouldn't watch

This used to be my house until the dog man came and took it. I just woke up and he was standing there saying that surely I was in the wrong house, this one had been in his family for generations, and he had the documents. Now all I can do is watch as he smears his mayonnaise covered hands on my family photos. Watch as he leaves cold cuts out everywhere to 'dry age' them, making the whole house smell like old salami. Watch as he touches all my furniture and loudly proclaims which ones he's going to marry. I think he knows I'm watching. I think he likes it."
