As someone who’s been a frequent target, none of this shocks me. I don’t expect real consequences from the right because I doubt today is the first day they heard about it.

I was a Young Republican for a brief time in the 1980s (for real). I promise you they talked like this back then. They didn’t know I was Jewish, so the Holocaust jokes flowed freely. It all helped radicalize me against the right.

That is the right take. Also it is disgraceful how many of a certain type of married Washington professional comments on Nuzzi getting more consequences than RFK, but who have nothing to say about other women pushed out of jobs because of non-scandals or ethics lapses on their part. Like the CDC.
