Woke up this morning so groggy that I completely forgot I had been transitioning for the last 5 years and basically had a jump scare in the bathroom mirror.

In case you're wondering what democrats are going to give up next, it will be reproductive care. The GOP is going to demand federal abortion restrictions in exchange for ACA subsidies.

Schumer is going to guide a cave in but zero senate dems are going to move for a leadership change. They're going to post through it and do nothing.

The centrists in the Senate Democratic caucus saw that the country was rallying to the party in the 2025 elections and resolved that they would do anything they could to kill that momentum.

Democrats caving after 40 days with nothing to show for it would be the most democrat thing to have ever happened.

Don't ever talk to the NYT about trans issues.
heads up to anyone who holds trans kids near: amy harmon from the nyt is searching for and having a hard time finding people to interview to find out exactly what trans kids are doing when their care is limited or cut off, and for purposes of community safety, please shut the fuck up around her.

22% voter turnout is sad given the amount of discontent I hear across a bunch of channels for city politics.

I dont think I could ever be so audacious as to call a family member, complain about how I've been unable to teach a 6 year old how a name change works for over 2 years, and then act offended when I get told off for saying I won't use the name around them.

But then again, I'm not my sister in law.

Oh I think he realized he's trying to run in Massachusetts and not new Hampshire.

Still a no, though.
SCOOP: Seth Moulton, who once said he opposes trans girls playing in girls' sports, commits to "support and lead legislation like the Transgender Bill of Rights" if elected senator

A look into how his past comments come into play in his challenge against Ed Markey:

In response to a list of questions from NOTUS, Moulton committed to “support and lead legislation like the Transgender Bill of Rights” if he is elected as Massachusetts’ senator.

Got my renewal notice from Harvard Pilgrim. My new plan, if I keep it, will be $779.60/mo, up from 711.00 this year, up from 640.00 in 2024. Those plan changes...woof. OOP max goes down $350, everything else gets put behind deductible, $200 pharmacy deductible added. Most costs way up.

There's nothing you can buy while on food stamps that won't make someone be cruel and make comments about how it's unfair that you're buying what you're buying. If you walk out with a bag of meats and fresh veggies, people will complain how it's unfair that you get healthy food and they don't.
right wing cruelty and modern cooking ignorance have produced people melting down that you can buy dijon mustard with food stamps.
