Pip and Jane Baker write perfect, textbook DW. Monsters (and keeping them offscreen as long as possible), cliffhangers, technobabble, jeopardy, giving companion something to do. It’s peachy perfect.

It’s so completely distilled DW that it seems like a parody or a joke.

I’ve always thought this. There’s so much unknown, so much to piece together. The archaeology and the history are so fascinating. Star Trek doesn’t have that. There’s no mystery when everything is there to be seen.

Has anyone ever bought #Popdots at full price? I’ve only ever seen them in my local Co-op, always with reduced stickers on. Are they a joke? So they come from the Popdot Factory with reduced labels pre-attached? I bought some once as an experiment, but won’t be repeating it.
