Right? I could accept "I had no idea this was a Nazi symbol and neither did any of my friends" because most normies only know about swastikas, but the second you learn it's a Nazi symbol the only correct response is "Wow, this is upsetting! I had no idea, gonna get it removed ASAP. I'm so sorry!"
Yup. Can't even use the excuse of money because there are artists who will cover them up for free
Ugh, I'm sorry for the extra hurdle in an already shitty time
Wait, sorry, your love?! Did I miss some news here? (Also yay!)
Oh Amy, I am so very, very sorry for your loss! May his memory be a blessing.
Imo one reason parents tend to assume their kids is advanced is that you get really used to your toddler/preschooler's diction and so their speech is often much more comprehensible to you than their peers' speech.
Please enjoy this pair of earrings that I just finished making but can't share on Facebook and Instagram until after my sister's birthday
Also, he was very quick to apologize to us if he, even when we were very young, which meant a lot to me
That he wasn't afraid to unselfconsciously love books that were girl-coded when we were growing up. He still isn't. He once bought a women's devotional Bible because he liked the study notes.
What’s ONE green flag about your father?

Hard to find a more obvious example of the journalism adage “If someone says it’s raining outside and someone else says it isn’t, your job is not to quote them both, your job is to go outside.”
A classic case of irresponsible both-sidesism from the NYT. The story is that Trump and MAGA propagandists are lying about Portland to incite a conflict, not that there are different views of the matter.
Solidarity with my fellow parents of night owls, my 3 year old daughter is currently spinning on circles chanting "nighttime is party time"

Gonna be thinking about this lede for a minute.
We went apple picking this weekend so EG and I made the Mostly Apples cake tonight (minus the nuts, which I skipped in favour of more chopped apple). Pic to come when it's out of the oven.
This is a Snacking Cakes by Yossy Arefeh stan account. It is the cookbook from my collection I use most often, bar none. Always reliable, delicious, easy to make cakes that yield a normal amount of dessert for a small household. My daughter can easily help me make them.
She used to date Kate McKinnon from SNL!
If we want to undermine Israel's attempts to take over Palestinian land and deny them their sovereignty, one of the best and most just ways to do that is to make sure Jews are safe everywhere, around the world.
Obviously Palestinians in Gaza are facing the most immediate threat to their lives and safety and need to be prioritized in this current moment, but we can walk and chew gum at the same time and we've got to here, because antisemitism has such long, deep, deadly roots.
One thing I find incredibly disheartening is the way global antisemitism emboldens Israel's violence against Palestinians and then in turn Israel's violence against Palestinians emboldens global antisemitism. It's this horrible, deadly, vicious cycle.
Once again at the point in my course prep where I'm fascinated by Frankish names all over again and I just need to know whether @amycolleen.bsky.social is aware of the historical Bertrude (or Rotrude, or Plectrude)
This is the Etsy store where I got the pattern for the lupine earrings, she has all sorts of gorgeous nature-inspired designs

"i just use it to generate ideas"
Sorry, forgot the alt text on the image, which features the back of my daughter's head and a shelf with a domed night light and pink, purple, and white/blue toy ponies.

In case you're curious their names are Sprinkles, Pinkeye, and Green Eyes
