Y’know, believing there’s a kind of racism that isn’t hurtful or insulting is itself quite revealing.

I’m not doing Black Friday this year.
I’d rather be honest with you than try to compete with big brands.
Every purchase genuinely makes a difference to my tiny business.

Farage really on the ropes there.
Did you ever racially abuse fellow pupils?

It was years ago.

Did you ever racially abuse fellow pupils?

Not in a hurtful way.

Did you ever racially abuse fellow pupils?

Not with intent.

Did you ever racially abuse fellow pupils?

Not genuine abuse.

Over at the Daily Telegraph, they're scratching their heads as to why the former mining and steel producinv city of Gliwice in Poland is now 45% more prosperous than Darlington... and why it has new shiny infrastructure... without mentioning EU funds for urban and regional development...

With all the noise being made about the US/Russia peace plan the admin is trying to foist on Ukraine, it’s important to understand why the full-court press is happening right now. Why Orban is attempting to speak for the EU…
Putin cannot afford the war anymore. They are selling off their gold,

“Did Nathan Gill ever say anything you disagree with in return for his bribes from a Kremlin stooge?”

“Did you, in your roles as his boss, friend, mentor & party leader, ever question his full-throated support for an enemy of the UK and if not, why not?”

You can have those for nothing, lads.

This is extreme but still on the spectrum of 'natural' or 'physiological' birth which is still promoted by some as superior (and still causes harm). Much like vaccines, the success of modern maternity care has made people forget how common and potentially serious birth complications are.

The "Boris Johnson is a genius" types were worse than Boris Johnson because they enabled Boris Johnson.

Now go away and write that out a thousand times.

It's much worse

The internet did become a massively useful technology

"AI" is almost useless. The massive resources out into it are just being burned. Literally.

I've always felt that Johnson and Farage put self-interest over the national interest - hence their dallying with Putin and his oligarchs. But directly colluding with a foreign government to take down the BBC feels like an act of supreme treachery

In the next week or so I should be getting:

The Casebook of Stamford Hawksmoor by @bryan-talbot.bsky.social
S 2 of Blake's 7 on blu ray
A 1,000 piece jigsaw of Josh Kirby's cover of @terryandrob.bsky.social 's Hogfather

And I'm equally excited about all 3. Not quite sure what that says about me.
