Can't have nice things. That stretch of road is an accident blackspot as well and the alternative path isn't fit for purpose.
The council have scrapped the plans due to "logistical challenges".

I wasn’t fast enough to record it, because I couldn’t quite believe what I was watching. This Canada Jay swooped down to try and catch a vole who was making a break for it across the road. The little guy just barely made it. Today I learned that these guys will attack and catch small mammals #birds

Looking back on my awesome Arctic fox encounter from last month. These little guys are high-energy, fast-moving foragers. This one was sniffing for snacks among the frozen kelp on the shore. They will follow polar bears onto the ice to eat leftovers from their kills. #mammals 🌿

Actually been on a train without the bike. Although it does happen it's rare.
Last time was 2021 to collect my car I'd deserted in Falmouth during the rail strikes.
TBH, it wasn't abandoned as such but left at a mates house while I was on Ride the Trafalgar Way.

Bath Christmas Markets, but done that 2 years ago.
