Actually, it's 3 times. The weather on Sunday for the main event, it was the weather again on Monday. Today, I got ready, set off for the start in Tiverton, then I realised I'd left my bottles at home & ill prepared for a late dark finish I've postponed it again #cycling #audax #bskycycling 🤦‍♂️🙄🌬🌧🚴‍♂️🍂

It's gonna be quite a week. At the end of the month, I'm off to Cumbria to sample the lake district. On the 1st Nov, I'll be in Lancashire for an audax and the week in between before heading down to Reading I'm spending some time in Yorkshire.

I saw the pictures of Ned's hill climb at the weekend. I remember you asking about going after the Tour of Britain. I wasn't sure about going along, but now I've seen it I wish we had gone. Would have been a nice day out.

9/9 ...I made it back in 9½hrs, 2hrs over the time limit. However, I thought the 7½hrs was a bit tight & wasn't surprised when my fastest 100km audax time ever was 8hrs with the 20% of gravel paths. It was a nice route mind you and I thoroughly enjoyed the day out #cycling #audax #SeasideDelight 😊

🧵 6/9 ...Brean Down was the turning point on this out & back route, it was literally the end of the road, plus it was the only manned control at the National Trust cafe where it was time for lunch.
