Since it's Spotify wrapped season, I'd like to share that in 2023, I was a top listener of Noah Kahan, and he sent a video out to me and 20,000 other people that was basically "Wow, you're really going through it. Bummer. Good luck with that." And it's my favorite music related moment of the decade.

Controversial opinion, but I don't apps like Whatnot should exist. I think thrift stores should be brick and mortar, and then they can have a storefront on a Facebook/etsy-esque website. Thrift shop owners and employees could unionize too to get protection from conglomerates like goodwill, and apps.

The hardest part about purging my belongings to move to Europe, is finding out almost everything I own is worthless to the general public, and all that I value is essentially trash.

Anytime there's mention of Somalia, all I think about is my 7th grade project, where I had to pretend to be a travel agent, and schedule a whole trip to Somalia, and I used the Internet (at this point, AOL had been public for two years.) And my teacher failed me. I still don't know what I did wrong.
