Charlie Kirk arrives at the gates of hell and is upset. He consoles himself by saying "Well at least I can laugh at all the <transphobic slurs> while I'm down here"
The devil ruins his mood by whispering "Haven't you heard? All dog girls go to heaven"

Once again wishing Steam had a no-gen"ai" filter

I refuse to support any game that has been made in any part using generative slop & it would make my time digging through the nearly 3,000 demos on show right now if I didn't have to check every single one to make sure it wasn't using that crap

Played the demo for World War V: Last Call, which is a voxel shooter game that's very cute. The developer tries to stop you from ending the demo, but you can just shoot him. store.steampowered.com/app/4031300/...
Screenshot from the demo of World War V: Last Call. On a square plain of voxel terrain with grass + trees on one side and a railway on the other, two characters are standing in dialogue. The player character is obscured by the dialog window but she's a scientist girl wearing a heavy textbook as a combat helmet and carrying a gun. The developer, Horang, pleads with the player to stop: "This game is just a demo! There's nothing past this point!". He's a dishevilled-looking guy with some kind of animal beanie.

Cropped screenshot from Stardew Valley with mods. Keahi, a young child in a red Among Us crewmate costume, says SUS! SUS! SUS! SUS! SUS!

I've been playing The Entropy Center, which is a portal-like spatial puzzle game where you get a gun that selectively rewinds time for certain objects. I bounced off the demo originally a while back because I felt mechanically it was too simple, but the full game has been consistently great.
A screenshot from The Entropy Center. We see the player's perspective as she stands overlooking a brutalist hallway that has been partly overgrown with plant life. A mist of water vapor drifts in through the hole in the ceiling, and the player is holding some kind of sci-fi gun or tool. A screenshot from The Entropy Center. In what appears to be a dream sequence, the player looks down along a walkway that sits just beneath the surface of a large body of water. Square stone pillars rise from the sides of the path, some standing straight up while others come inward to nearly meet above the player's head. The pathway disappears into a foggy distance, and at the top of the view you can see the stars.

Burn every american flag. Rip the patches off all the uniforms, slice rectangles out of bodies to get the tattoos, pull the drives out of the data centers, every painted pane of glass from its frame and pile it all a mile high in a parking lot. Burn it all and stare into the flames until we forget

I keep seeing this lady and I think it's because I follow a bunch of Brazilian game devs by accident, can you explain for a clueless Australian like me? Best I can tell is she's an actress for a soap opera?

I will also direct the dev team to make a feature so you can get an easily scrollable version of an argument between people who are using quotes in an annoying way.

I'll volunteer for the new CEO of bluesky. I will ban all the clout demon liberals, transphobic journalists and anyone with an AI avatar. Everyone can delete one enemy post per week, and you can buy a subscription to other accounts and they get a large cut of the sub money. vote me for CEO

For clarity: calling an "AI" system a slur means you're accepting a dishonest framing of these systems as agents with an amount of personhood. It's also a very reddit thing to do.

Some of the harm being done by this "AI" craze is enabled and made worse by people buying into the branding of AI, stop

I hate AI more than anyone else but I'm sending a terminator back in time to kill the parents of anyone who decides it's funny to use slurs about robots
