Sharing this 102 year old WW2 Vet who is fighting fascism a second time.
We've been looking at house listings.
If I see bongos in the photos, I move on to the next house!

Happy to be located in a dark blue place (Canada)
Also, what's up Northern Territory? Why aren't you playing nice with the rest of your country?🤔
My hot take on euthanasia laws is that they will be heavily liberalized very soon around the world. The big Baby Boomer cohort ages and will continue to push their life-long demands for self determination even as they approach death.
I have some pretty mixed feelings about block lists (I'm on one for BMW owners. I don't drive), but this one looks useful 😀

An opposing viewpoint is that Datsun was a way cooler name than Nissan. An opposing viewpoint is not that marginalized folk should be imprisoned or killed to make the right feel more comfortable.
people who earnestly try to argue that blocking certain accounts deprives u of important opposing viewpoints are assuming these certain accounts are posting in good faith
which is a dangerous assumption tbh
I found the white house account and blocked all the accounts they reposted * and then blocked them.
I highly recommend doing the same. No good can come from following, reading or interacting with them

* Yes repost. The word skeet is stupid. I'm not against it, I just think it's dumb.
US Government accounts have arrived on Bluesky.

Block on sight.

Protect your digital space.

Be aware that the DHS account in particular is known to quote dunk on regular people to encourage their followers to harass them.

The detach quote function will come in very handy here…
Yeah, no

Thanks for the convenient list of films to avoid.
Everyone has forgotten that she was a defender of Woody Allen!
A very useful tool!

Ernie Coombs was born American but became a Canadian citizen in 1994.
Mr. Dressup on the other hand, was Canadian through and through and a true national treasure!

some colleagues have suggested to me that shame is irrelevant because the people on the "other side" don't know or care what "we" (on whatever "this side") think of them. I have...not gotten that impression
Ahem:
"In 1963, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in Toronto contracted Rogers to come to Toronto to develop and host the 15-minute black-and-white children's program Misterogers; it lasted from 1963 to 1967"

This is hands down the best Trek fan art I've ever made
I drove one of those from Vancouver to Toronto and back in '84.
We had no problems with tailgaters 😀

It’s a snores d’oeuvres or a snooze-bouche
Feelings here changed when the Vancouver Canadians changed their affiliation from the Oakland As to the blue Jays.
But we are more of a hockey town than a baseball town.
(Or so I gather, I don't get sports ball)
She was an amazing and the cool mom in the neighbourhood!
All my love to you and Cathy and the kids.
