Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

This was yesterday, and it really is worth noting that this is what the political class and most of the press has been falling over itself to protect: the type of shit they would be demanding the army crack down on, from any other set of fans.

We're now up to 22 ex-Tory policies being enacted by Labour. And no, it's definitely not subtle.
We’re now up to 22 ex-Tory MPs joining reform. It’s not subtle - every day clearer this is just a rebranding of the nutty fringe of the Conservative Party offering to rerun the Truss/Johnson omnishambles

It sucks that the EBU is just willing to go down with the ship all to preserve the whitewashing of genocide.
Last year’s winner of the Eurovision Song Contest, Nemo from Switzerland, has handed back their prize in protest at Israel being included in the competition this year. He joins five countries [Iceland, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands & Slovenia]. The competition is a slow-motion car crash.

My constituent, Amu, is on Day 40 of their hunger strike in prison.

Last month, I requested an urgent meeting with the Justice Secretary to discuss their wellbeing.

He has now officially declined my request.

What an absolute disgrace.

Right-wing lawmakers in Brazil were voting past midnight to cut down the punishment for Bolsonaro & others involved in 2023's coup attempt

A fight broke up in Congress and Meta simply shadow banned left-wing profiles on IG - including Brazil's president - so the right can dominate the conversation💀

"Why would Jeremy Corbyn do the things that the current Labour government are doing?! Curse you Jumplin Cruibin!!"
The thing I still can't forgive Corbyn for is the generational harm he caused by enabling Brexit. When Starmer is gone, hopefully soon, I will feel the same way about the profound harm he has caused by making it palatable for the Far Right to ditch human rights norms. It will be his shameful legacy.
