Such social media companies are not, and have never been, a “public forum”. They are privately owned networks that have a single priority: harvesting profits. Primarily from selling their users’ information to those who which to target them. Everything else is secondary.

Okay, I have to rant about this. Why don’t characters in crime fiction movies have intruder alarms installed in their house or offices? Every plot has someone breaking into a property with no alarm which becomes the turning moment in the story. Have script writers never heard of burglar alarms??
