an odd thing happened today. i decided to use my free nook miles ticket to grab some iron for the shop.

sandy was on the island. i have no open spots. so i talked to her twice and was able to invite her to my island.

it gives me more to do in that i have immediate goals in building the shop, paying off my loans, contributing to the museum, building up the island, etc.

it also gives me less to do in that there's nothing there and i'm stuck on the lowest level
