At some point Logitech started bundling GPT software with their mouse software. I found this out because it was causing MASSIVE system instability on my machine. They silently rolled this stuff out and it's not only something I didn't need or want, but it's actively harming my system.

Yes, for me this is still partially 'funny story to tell at parties' but also a chilling portent of what might be to come.

This is the sort of shit that makes me say "never believe a damn word that ever comes from cops," especially now. Because given the opportunity to shut down journalists and the voices of real people, they will not hesitate to seize it.
Now that there’s been an arrest I feel safe sharing this story:
TMZ reached out to my job asking if I worked there. I called them up to see what they wanted. They claimed to have multiple sources saying I was the killer, then expressed shock that the NYPD hadn’t contacted me yet.

not to stan anybody but there was a bug in the lastest version of #blender that was pretty debilitating to my workflow. i reported it and getting to watch the developers publicly report the work they're putting in to this somewhat obscure corner of the software that's important to me is amazing

People celebrating Luigi Mangione, the health care CEO assassin, need to understand that vigilante killings are not celebrated or in any way condoned in the United States. We are a civilized country that values the lives of its citizens.
