Completely normal contrarian extraordinare.
Well I guess they had to do something with all the money they're getting by using proprietary software and illegal anticompetitive practices to destroy independent repair shops.

No, no, listen.. everyone just focus and debate it here, we can definitely settle this whole "theology" and "existence of god" thing right now in a few 250 character posts.

That is being the "holding back". It's also the cause of many other problems in politics.

I don't really care about AOC specifically, but no doubt she experiences this obstacle.

A better ex. is dems running "it's my turn" candidates instead of newer, more electable candidates.

They would literally rather die than admit weakness to themselves or anyone e.g. RBG, Turtleman, Feinstien, etc.

If they can't value people, esp. themselves, for more than just the amount of money and power they command then they can never pass the torch to the next generation.

I don't think most politicians are anti-youth, even if some are, they're mostly just narcissists who can't fathom letting go of their position.

Narcissists are insecure, craving external validation of their worth like an addict needs a fix. It's never enough and they'll do anything for it.

If you want evidence of this, the average age of congress you dismiss tells you it is happening. The only other explanation is younger "qualified politicians" don't exist, which is an oxymoron because all politicians are unqualified and clearly there are younger politicians.

In politics and congress, and honestly more on the left than right, it's not so much that younger people are being excluded as older people are refusing to step aside, like the CEO. Worse, they exploit analogous dynamics, as I did to you, to protect themselves from other (younger) politicians.

So he just holds onto the role while his competency wanes.
What are those capable, would-be CEOs to do? Go start their own companies? Could they? Sure. Is that reasonable? No. The CEO is holding them back.

If you needed my knowledge to progress in your career, I can withhold it from you solely for my own gain. Analogous situations exist all over.

Another example would be a CEO who claims there isn't anyone to replace him, despite there being several competent replacements available.

You might be missing the point - the exchange we had shows I can keep you down by not (as I'm doing now) explaining.
Just because you can, possibly, figure it out yourself, doesn't mean you aren't being held back by me blowing you off.

Louis DeJoy has long planned to privatize USPS. We covered it three years ago, and his efforts haven't been halted in the years since.

That's common. The "secret" to speed reading is to practice and improve the second type. You pull your focus back and let your visual field absorb all the text at once and process it subconsciously. I doubt it really ever works like hucksters sell it with perfect recall but you get the gist.

Haha I guess this fact is making rounds again.
If this is shocking wait until you hear about aphantasia..

Haha, always critical of the writer's perspective, this post was the point where I knew you knew VCs.. The rich kid also has an MBA though. Best money can buy. The other two are his buds from school or partying, and ime one of them is likely a lawyer not MBA, but close enough.

Wait no it was that the state they were legal in didn't want to renew their contract that allowed them to be used. Maybe that has been resolved... Ah! But if not, the users need to dump them... if the firmware is already hacked maybe it's time to pick up one of these up on ebay..

Isn't that the company that announced it would be going out of business in a year and people who paid like 2k for the plate are just effed?
December 16, 2024 at 4:10 PM
Just because I could explain it to you doesn't mean I have to Champ. Everyone else gets it, sounds like something is holding you back with entitlement.
December 16, 2024 at 4:07 PM
Sounds like someone feels entitled to an explanation. Maybe put on your big boy pants and think about it.

These entitled kids...
December 16, 2024 at 4:02 PM
Wtf. You really don't know what holding people back means? Or specifically how that happens in politics?
December 16, 2024 at 5:59 AM
Idk if you're just being facetious... Obviously they're typical narcissistic power hungry boomers. They have no idea what else to do, they're not real, mentally developed people. They'll be desperately faking they're not the worthless garbage they are until the second they keel over.
