Not satisfied with just destroying their own brand goodwill, OS companies are now using AI to try to destroy the good names of the apps users install. (Scrivener taking out adds to explain how it has no AI but Apple adds some anyway.)

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

Finally finished watching Valorant Champions 2025. Incredible last match, incredible casting by Pansy & Hypoc (as per usual). Props to NRG but I was really hoping for a Fnatic win. Maybe next year, EMEA <3 (I am a region traitor, EMEA for life)
