We gathered downtown to say it loud and clear: in this country, we have #NoKings!

We have to be persistent to see things through. To protect our community from Trump’s budget cuts by voting Yes on Measure A. To take back the House by voting Yes on 50. And to kick him out of the White House in 2028!
Me, building a website and collecting content for the next newsletter: 🎼 But you don’t know the life of a showgirl, baaaaabe… 🎶

Ribbon cuttings are one of the best parts of my job, because we get to celebrate folks investing in our city and show everyone that Downtown San José is the place to be. That’s why I was excited to join in welcoming Poppy & Claro to our downtown!

If you look at the sheer insanity of what government officials and agencies openly post on XShitter, it becomes abundantly obvious how much the press is complicit. If Dems did even a fraction of this poasting it would be saturated in news coverage.
More propaganda with painfully normal people zip-tied at the side of the road please, this will for sure convince the American people that you're the good guys

One thing @govpritzker.illinois.gov does here, which WE ALL need to do more often, is lead with Trump's crimes.

A sex assaulted fraudster serial felon who freed HUNDREDS of cop assailants--and some terrorists--on his first day is trying to claim Democrats are criminals.
If you come for my people, you come through me.

My team and I spent Saturday w/the Japantown Community Congress, having great conversations about the collaborative work these local leaders do in maintaining one of our cultural treasures. Then we took a neighborhood tour, led by Japantown Business Association Vice President Jim Nagreda. (1/2)

The crime we need to worry most about is the regime's effort to criminalize opposition to Trump.

Marcy references the case of SEIU labor leader David Huerta. She notes the FBI is probably using this ridiculous "intimidation of a police officer" charge to comb through SEIU's internal communications.
I love that our office’s first memo to get passed by Council was about affordable housing. When I got involved in local politics, it was because of the cost of housing.

Five years later, I finally was able to help someone in San José win — and he’s already getting the work done.

I’m so proud. 🥹
I walked into work today with a smile on my face because last night, City Council passed the first memo led by my office! (1/2)

Notable how every available information surface is turned into a pasteboard for propaganda
I am told that furloughed Department of Labor employees were instructed today that out-of-office messages should blame Democrats.

ICE lied about the person it shot, claiming he was a "criminal," but NBC finds that he had no criminal history whatsoever. Not even traffic tickets in 12 years! It also lied about the extent of the injuries to its agents....

Real leadership is the opposite of thuggery.

The so-called “strongmen” of the current era — Putin, Trump, and Netanyahu — are not leaders.

They can manipulate public opinion and sustain their bases of power, but they have no moral authority.

Let me be clear: no one in San José should live in fear. As the Trump Administration finds new ways to circumvent the law, we must be ready to fight back.

If you see something, say something. Reach out to the Rapid Response Network about any suspected ICE activity at 408-290-1144.
