This seems like the kind of declaration by a U.S. president that should be mentioned *somewhere* on the front page of CNN or the NY Times, but the fact that it isn't (as of right now) tells us so much both about how this president is covered and the credibility of the U.S. government.

I’m lucky enough to finally be making a comfortable living, so I’d donate half or so to people in countries without a UBI. The other half, well, I’m assuming the retirement pension will fall apart by the time I should start getting it (along with the UBI I guess), so I’d save it.
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?
