as in all my favorite romcoms, max and nico are each other's antagonists. what max wants more than anything is to avoid publicity, whereas it's essentially nico's job to get him embroiled in scandal. additionally, their personalities (attention seeking vs. attention avoidant) cause them to clash.

I HAVE FINISHED THIS THANG. FOUR MONTHS 70K WORDS I HAVE DONE IT. let this be a lesson that this is what you can accomplish when you have a novel to avoid revising
sometimes you just need to become possessed and fling aside your other projects to spend an entire month writing nothing but fanfiction for a film that came out thirteen years ago. it's enrichment
