I don’t think they’re upset. I think they are more baffled or irritated and maybe then want to justify their own action and think everyone is using Amazon anyway so they then try this argument

But I had to show the publisher how I would divide the pages and do the layout before I can go into inks so payout and pencils if 316 pages first and now off to the next tasks, inks

Love when people are irritated that I won’t order from Temu and then try this gotcha with me by saying hey it’s just like Amazon, if you use one or the other won’t make a difference and I can just look them dead in the eyes and reply yeah I’ve been boycotting Amazon since years

Biggest project ever for me
Never drawn this many comic pages

And I had the freedom to do the page and panel divide by myself which was def more work but also fun and gave me more freedom to add my voice to the storytelling too
