My read on this is that when one of these fascists gets 10% of the smoke that they put out towards the people they hate, they fold.

The government is full of pedophiles and the legacy media is complicit but on the plus side broad adoption of Linux on the desktop might have a fighting chance so today is kind of a wash.

The carceral state is generally brutal and evil in the way it treats the human beings it cages, but it’s fine to point out when there are bursts of unusually concentrated or vigorous evil and use it to get people to care.
Pregnant women detained by ICE report horrifying treatment: shackling, solitary confinement, no prenatal vitamins, inadequate food. ICE's own directives and regulations require the agency to avoid detention of pregnant people in the first place. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...

We need a bigger national spotlight on this building raid, fam. Agents dropped from helicopters onto the roof. Citizens and non-citizens alike were dragged from their homes in the night. People who weren't kidnapped during the raid had their belongings seized after the fact. This is madness.

So true. I can't believe when I see my colleagues outsourcing their thinking to AI. It's part of our training and our duty to patients to be able to read papers and evaluate evidence critically.
Reading papers is a basic skill (and dare I say duty?) of scientists, and I include medical doctors in that group. Keeping abreast of the literature is a foundational part of our professions. There aren’t good shortcuts. In any case, reading papers regularly is fun.
