Its less a case of "dems gratuitously abandoning trans folks" than "dems dont want to pick a fight over funding the military over a small if shitty part of the bill." Im not happy about it either but we shouldn't overstate stuff like this.

I just found out that ICE is deliberately trying to shut down a popular restaurant in my area! Every time they try to open, ICE kidnaps people. It's a popular place to eat among East Asian tourists. They're being deliberately targeted to shut them down.
