If remembering to add ALT text is the issue, there's a nifty little setting you can turn on to have it remind you to do just that before posting. I use it all the time because it used to be I didn't do that for mine at all. Now I've made it a habit to add alt text to my art and images.
Hey guys. I keep seeing art on my timeline that has no ALT and it's bothering me. I also said this because my bestie IS blind and he's the one who explained this to me in the first place. I already admitted to not being an angel but i'm improving and we all can do better. Please use ALT text.
artists, if you are going to use ALT text please remember to be as descriptive as you can be for things like screen readers. I use a screen reader in my car & if the ALT only has 1 or 2 words in it, it's not helping me & it's certainly not helping anyone with visual challenges. Please use ALT text.

last week i remembered that macOS lets you set your own icons and that *I* have the power to delegitimize the professionalism of the software that runs on my machine, so here's a thread of the 16 new icons i've made so far
